Who are we?


     Webmaster Les ( Lester ) Oakes is a longtime Mexico resident who migrated to Zihuatanejo in late 2000 from Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas.
Les brings over 25 years of computer skills and database management experience to Zihuatanejo as a systems consultant. His experience with the "internet" started with local area networks in the late 1970's and BBS sites in the mid 1980´s. He began designing web pages and web sites in 1994.
This site began in 2001 as a simple directory of local businesses offering free advertising for all of the local professionals, stores, restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. The pages available now are the offspring of that venture. The listings and basic advertising are still free.
